Martijn de Vos (1992) is a multimedia artist, photographer, and documentary filmmaker based in Amsterdam (NL) and frequently working in Tbilisi (GE). His work explores the intersections between media, focusing on how forms and languages translate and interact. Specializing in vector synthesis—the creation of visual shapes through soundwaves—de Vos examines the relationship between humanity and nature, often critiquing the impact of capitalism on ecological balance and human well-being. Networks, structures, and systems are central fascinations in his practice, informing both his aesthetic and conceptual approach.
De Vos has presented performances in Georgia, Azerbaijan and the Netherlands. In 2021, he participated in the AqTushetii Residency in Omalo, Georgia, where he deepened his exploration of site-specific audiovisual work.
